UniAfrik

Team: UniAfrik
UniAfrik realized most SMEs are creating products and taking them to the market without conducting critical research to understand customers demand, existing competitions and the market environment. Lack of research causes SMEs to drop off in the market or to have less life span in the market. On the other hand, SMEs fail to meet investment demand because the products created/produced are less competitive in the market and lack sustainability.

UniAfrik has team members from diverse individual businesses and they are  driven to solve a common challenge that African SMEs are facing. UniAfrik Platform is the research platform developed by the team and this solution intends to help SMEs run their research before taking their products to the market or investments. SMEs will have access to the real time data and data analysis in the software.

The software will have other opportunities that MSEs will be able to access such as mentorship to conduct their research, supporting SMEs to run a strategic decision for their businesses, allowing SMEs to analyze the competition that are existing in the market, and certification after completion of their research.

Further the platform will also be a good source to allow investors from Europe or Africa to access SMEs that are competent and promising for the investment. SMEs profiles will be accessible in the UniAFrik platform and investors will be able to identify SMEs who fit their type of investment support.

UniAfrik is expected to kick off in Ghana first for trial and then the solution will be expanded to other African countries, to allow other SMEs to access opportunities and services offered by the UniAfrik. The team comprises four people including; Charity Abartey who is CEO & Research Expert, Samuel GaribaProgram Manager, Kelvin Bonsu who is the Technical Manager and other supporting team members.
