On January 24th, 2023, Outbox Hub joined forces with Startup Uganda, NSSF Hi Innovator, and Mastercard Foundation Young Africa Works to host a hybrid workshop on “Preparing projects for investment and investor relationships” under the AfriConEU Networking Academy. The goal of the workshop was for participants to learn how to effectively prepare their projects for investment and build successful investor relationships. 

During the session, participants were divided into groups and shared their expectations from this workshop. Ivan Mandela, Director of Investment at Shona Group analyzed the different funding types, how investment funds work and the reasons why an investor can reject your business idea. Through case studies,  the teams also explored the step-by-step process beyond Readiness.
