We are delighted to provide an update on our recent meeting with Mr. Jose-Luis Gonzalez, Program Officer of the Delegation of the European Union to Tanzania, Mr. Joseph E. M., Programme Manager at Funguo Tanzania, Ms. Ivana Damjanov, Inclusive Digital Economies Country Lead, and Mr. Tian Zhang from the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF). The meeting focused on discussions related to the AfriConEU project. During this highly constructive meeting, we had the opportunity to delve into the exciting prospects of the AfriConEU project. The involvement of our local digital innovation hubs, namely Emerging Communities Africa, hapaSpace Collaborative Hub, Buni Hub, and Outbox Uganda, played a crucial role in exploring and understanding the diverse innovation ecosystems of Tanzania, Ghana, Nigeria, and Uganda. We discovered remarkable similarities and potential collaboration opportunities among these regions, which can pave the way for transformative developments.
