Porto Business School and AfriConEU, the first Trans-continental Academy for African and European Digital Innovation Hubs, will host a participative workshop to discuss the most appropriate Objectives, Thematic areas, Methods, and Tools to be utilized for the different programmes. The workshop will take place on the 3rd of February 2022, 10.30 CET and it will be online.
The workshop aims to co-design a programme focused on Africa-Europe partnerships in the innovation ecosystem, particularly between DIHs. This programme belongs to a series of programmes of the AfriConEU project. Therefore, the workshop encompasses some interactive activities to boost discussion and exchange of ideas. To present their experiences and good practices, two representatives of the innovation ecosystem will present the main challenges, opportunities, and strategies to foster this cooperation between continents.”
The second flagship programme of the AfriConEU Academy is devoted to trans-continental exchange and new partnership building among DIHs and innovation stakeholders of both continents. This flagship programme will include the following sub-programmes:
- Towards a common digital market and a connected start-up ecosystem between Africa and Europe
- Business and investment opportunities in the African market
- Digitalization, jobs for the 21st century, and employment opportunities
