Virtual Stakeholders’ Engagement Session for Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda and Tanzania

Emerging Communities for Africa and AfriConEU, the first Trans-continental Academy for African and European Digital Innovation Hubs, will host a Virtual Stakeholders’ Engagement Session for Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, and Tanzania with the topic: Seamless Collaboration Between African & European Digital Innovation Ecosystem. The session will take place on the 23rd of February 2022, 11.00 CET and it will be online.

The engagement session aims to identify challenges and seek out opportunities for strengthening African DIH’s while also ensuring seamless collaboration between all stakeholders in Academia, Private Sector, and Government in the innovation ecosystem in Africa and the European Union.

The major objective of this session is to bring together all the stakeholders from the four African Countries on the AfriConEU Project, for an effective and strategic dialogue on stimulating rapid digital transformation with attention to socio-economic development in Africa through the Digital Innovation Hubs in both continents. The end goal is to gather as much data, spark genuine interest in the project whilst creating networking opportunities amongst participants for the development and design of an engagement strategy for all major key players in the digital innovation ecosystem for the AfriconEU Networking Academy.

The session is open to all individuals and key players in the innovation ecosystem, digital transformation, and those actively working towards technology development and advancement in Africa while exploring opportunities for international partnerships.
