On the 22nd of February, ATBN hosted an online webinar about “Impact Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning” under the framework of AfriConEU Networking Academy. The webinar aimed to provide participants with a basic understanding of the best practices for impact monitoring, evaluation and learning to better contribute to the success of their programmes.

Eunice Baguma Ball, Director of ATBN, warmly welcomed the participants and introduced them to the AfriConEU project and the endless opportunities that it offers through the AfriConEU Networking Academy sessions. Stav Bar-Shany, Director of ATBN, briefly presented the theoretical part of the Theory of Change strategy, setting the base for the Impact assessment through examples.

The main speaker of the webinar, Juliet Capito, Monitoring and Evaluation Practitioner, introduced herself and elaborated more on what Stav presented. She mentioned that the learning is the essence of impact assessment as it will highlight how you can improve your services. She also explained the importance of logic models, logical frameworks, how to bring your dream into reality and at the end how to communicate your impact successfully.
