Description: A Workshop to Explore the African Innovation Ecosystem, challenges, goals and wins. How a Hub can define its purpose, activity, and process. The Commission of Science and Technology through Buni is implementing a Hub of Hubs strategy that aims to strengthen the Tanzanian Innovation Ecosystem by supporting Innovation Spaces that ultimately will ensure profitable startups. One way to implement the Hub of Hubs strategy is through the Africa-Europe Consortium (AfriConEU), which brings together European and African Digital Innovation Hubs (DIH). The workshop seeks to explore the African Innovation Ecosystem, particularly the key challenges faced and mitigations undertaken. We anticipate the workshop will also be a chance for participants to set the scene and define their activity, purpose, role, and description of their processes. The Workshop is part of the National Innovation Week, Dar-es-salaam under the theme “Innovation for Sustainable Development”.
