On the 4th and 5th of November 2022, AfriConEU partners had the opportunity to attend their first physical consortium meeting in Bologna, Italy. 

Following the International Brokerage Event the previous days, partners had several topics to discuss. Due to visa issues, 9 out of 11 partners were able to participate physical in the event, the rest of them attended virtually. Partners discussed about the progress of the project so far and elaborated on the recommendations by the European Health and Executive Agency during the mid-term Report of the project. 

One of the main focus of the consortium meeting was the Year 3 of the project, including all the rest activities of the Capacity Building Networking Academy. Partners discussed about the bootcamps that will take place next year in Uganda, Tanzania, Nigeria and Ghana. Furthermore, partners agreed on the next Consortium meeting that will take place the first trimester of 2023. 

This meeting has been a great opportunity for partners to finally meet, interact and exchange ideas about AfriConEU future activities.
