On Tuesday 2nd May, AfriConEU represented by  Eunice Baguma Ball (ATBN), Stav Bar-Shany (ATBN) and Gideon Brefo (HapaSpace) was proud to participate in Catalysing Change Week (CCW) 2023 hosted by Catalyst 2030. CCW is the world’s largest event led by social innovators and entrepreneurs to share knowledge, exchange ideas and accelerate collaborative systems change

During the session, the team presented insights and learnings from the AfriConEU’s work supporting African Digital Innovation Hubs and connecting them with their counterparts in Europe for capacity building, knowledge sharing, networking and collaboration.

The discussion focused on the challenges and needs of DIHs in Africa as well as shared recommendations for better supporting their crucial role as catalysts for the digital transformation and sustainable development in the region.
