Business Intelligence and Analytics | PBS Online Webinar

On the 3rd of April, PBS hosted an online webinar on “Business Intelligence and Analytics”. During this webinar participants had the chance to explore various themes related to business intelligence and data analytics, such as state-of-the-art data analysis models and how to communicate their impact effectively. The session covered data visualization and predictive analytics, providing attendees with a comprehensive overview of the latest trends and practices in the field.

The webinar started with Catarina Silva, Funded Projects Technician at Porto Business School, warmly welcoming the participants and introducing the agenda. Then Richard Zulu, Founding partner & Lead at Outbox Uganda presented the AfriConEU project and encouraged the participants to register for the next events.

Our speaker, Pedro Amorim, Professor at FEUP & Co Founder at LTPlabs dived into the world of data analytics in the decision making process. Pedro highlighted that we don’t need to have a Ph.D. to leverage and use analytical methods. A key takeaway from the speaker was to think beyond reality and follow the journey.” For more information about the event, you can check out AfriConEU’s Twitter page.
